Katie Stoudemire, Project Director (pictured above with Ms. Bones) is a North Carolina state-certified science teacher and has more than eight years of experience providing natural science enrichment for hospitalized children. She began the program in 2006 and especially enjoys learning from kids & teenagers, making a mess, and brainstorming new activities. When she’s not at work, she loves being outside with her family.
Andrew Torlage, Program Manager, hails from South Africa originally, where he worked as a field guide. Combining this experience with a background in teaching he soon found himself in the world of environmental education, allowing him to pursue his passion of connecting others with nature. Andrew has lived on 3 continents, loves to travel and explore and is always ready for the next adventure.
